Mary Kate Kennedy, BS, CMC, CIRS-A, CSA:  Bachelors of Science degree in Human Services with a specialization in Gerontology; Care Manager Certified, granted by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM); Certified Information & Referral Specialist in Aging granted by the National Alliance of Information & Referral Specialists (AIRS); Certified Senior Advisor granted by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Over 21 years experience in the delivery of home health aide, nursing, and therapy services, includes monitoring clients and coordinating care and services, transitioning clients to and from home and facilities, evaluating equipment needs and expanding supports for families with a network of service providers and specialists.

As Founder and President of 1 Link 4 Senior Care, I work hard to insure your loved ones receive the best possible care and services. Beyond experience in the field, I know that real client satisfaction and succesful outcomes are a result of listening carefully, respecting client's wishes and knowing the right resources to fit the needs.

In 1990, I began working as a coordinator of home care services, and found it a privilege and a vocation to be working with families. For many years as the director of a prominent home health care nursing agency, I had overall responsibility for the staff delivering those services, and ultimately, client satisfaction. Daily tasks included hiring nurses, home health aides and therapists, helping families manage a crisis, or connecting them with quality providers and resources when home care wasn't enough. Now, as a professional care manager and advocate, clients receive detailed information and referrals to make truly informed decisions, quality resources, and coordination of care and services to gain both support and peace of mind.

When I monitor the care of clients at home or in a facility, I work to insure they receive excellent care and resolve issues with staff if they arise. Most importantly, I handle the problems along the way so families do not have to, thereby taking one more stressor off their shoulders.

As a staunch advocate for seniors and adults with disabilities, I continue to serve my community as the Chairperson of the Camden County Board of Senior and Disabled Services' Advisory Board (soon to be renamed ADRC -Aging and Disability Resource Center.) For the past six (6) years, I have been the advisory board chairperson, and a voting member since 1998. Together with a panel of consumers, professionals, and county staff, our work is to evaluate and develop new programs and services, provide advocacy, and engage in support for policy changes when necessary in both our community and state.
